SEWER SERVICE RATE INCREASE BEGINS WITH JULY, 2010, SERVICE

After much study and deliberation, RVS has decided to increase the sewer service charges effective July 1, 2010.

The Single Family Residential base rate of $13.90 will be increased to $15.90 per month. Commercial rate will increase the same percentage.

This increase will allow RVS to continue to provide quality service while protecting public health and the environment.

The last increase was October, 2004. RVS will still have one of lowest sewer service rates in the state.

FATS, OILS, AND GREASE (FOG) COMPLIANCE PROGRAM

RVS provides sanitary sewer service to the cities of Jacksonville, Talent, Phoenix, Central Point and Eagle Point as well as some of the unincorporated areas of Jackson County, including White City. Portions of West and North Medford are also served. We provide stormwater quality service to the cities of Phoenix, Talent, Central Point and some of the unincorporated area around these cities, including White City.
